Service rates and policies
 
1. RMA Numbers
No RMA Numbers are required. Please include a detailed description of complaint and return address.

2. Warranty Repairs
Warranty repairs required date of purchase receipt. units submitted without receipt will be treated as non-warranty.  Customer is responsible for freight costs both ways( inbound and outbound) for warranty and non-warranty repairs. Repairs are sent UPS COD (includes UPS COD fee)   E.A.R.CO.S is not liable for damages incurred in shipping. Damage incurred during shipment for warranty product will void its warranty. For this reason we recommend that you insure the product for full replacement value.  E.A.R.CO.S pick up service is available.  Please call for current rates.

3. Non-Warranty Repairs
Estimates will be provided on repair costs exceeding $100 (without shipping) if requested. If customer is not willing to invest the $100 in an item it's probably not worth fixing.if an estimate is not requested we will assume unit is to be repaired and shipped back ASAP. Any delays in estimate approval will delay time of repair. Special estimates can be provided for units under $125 in total value.  Rates are $50 per hour with a one-hour minimum per item.  Charges are based on time of actual repair.

4. Turn Around Time
We will do our best to repair units within 14 working days after receipt( 2 weeks). Sometimes parts are backordered which leaves us at the mercy of the manufacturer of the parts.  We are not liable for the length of time parts or backordered.

5. Our Warranty Policy
E.A.R.CO.S guarantees all of its warranty and non-warranty repairs for a period of 30 days from the date of pickup or delivery. If unit fails with the same problem within the 30 day period, return the unit. If the unit requires ADDITIONAL PARTS to solve the ORIGINAL problem, you will only be charged for the additional parts. all returns are subject to inspection and evaluation by an E.A.R.CO.S technician. Upon inspection, if it is determined that the unit in question has been subsequently modified, abused, tampered with or repaired by another service organization, the customer will be notified and an estimate for the additional incurred diagnostic and service charges will be issued.
